Championship Saturday is underway on Cass Lake. Multiple storms rolled through over night and winds are picking up a bit this morning. Forecast for today shows possible showers through out and rain picking up by the time the teams weigh in. A total of 200 fish were caught on day one with a 97% release rate and all but 7 were released back into Cass Lake to fight another day.

Tommy Skarlis and Jeff Lahr moved up the ranks from second to first place with a two day total weight of 28.03 pounds and your day one leaders Carl Holten & Mickey Stuefen fell to second place with a two day total of 26.10 pounds. Travor Diegel and Paul Steffen bumped up to third place with 25.08 pounds. Spencer Deutz & Ron Deutz took fourth with 25.03 pounds and taking fifth place is Dan Geiken & Brad Berens with 23.02 pounds.
