Location: Westland, MI. | Thanks for the plug, Rick. It's very thoughtful of you. Take care, and call me before you come down next week. With all the high winds we're getting, the Bay may be out of the question. |

Location: Upper Sandusky Ohio | No kidding. Wow that's pretty good dude. We are gonna have to get on the water together. There is nothing like a sunny day, warm weather, catching fish, talking Baseball. It just doesn't get any better than that!!!!! |

Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Hey "Bo Diddly".
Wanted to thank you again for the lunch and a pretty neat day today spent with you and Rick Larson (The Wallmart Junkie). And thanks again for the secret weapons. Rick was like a kid at the fair in my garage taking mental fishing notes for the Bay. I'll let him tell it when he gets back home.
Also, I just recieved an annoucment about a March 28th Preserve Pheasant hunt in Lakeview, about half way between me and you miles wise. $100.00 a man, huge area, lots of birds. I know it's kinda in the middle of the spring boat show season, but if your interested let me know. Capt: Dan, the FRB.

Location: Westland, MI. | Hi Capt. Dan, March 28 is an open date. I'd love to go. Drop me an e-mail. You're very welcome for the lunch and secrets (ha-ha). Rick's quite a guy, isn't he? Hey Rick, are you home yet? Too bad we couldn't fish, but what I was told this AM, we should have. They took lots of fish yesterday. All in the 3 to 5 lb. class. They had to wade out about 100 yards before finding good ice, but then after that, it was 10" thick. Oh well, story of my life. I should have been there yesterday. |

No wading in cold water for me!
Yep, got home safe and sound, but was wondering about that a bit last night. Was bound and determined to get home early, and sometimes if I get a couple hours of sleep, I can go for another day. So I bedded down in the truck around midnight.
At 1:45 my truck made a giant lurch and along with it heard a loud crunching/squealing sound.
Here a couple of drunken black guys in an old rusted-out Windstar attempted to do a u-turn in the parking lot and sideswiped my truck!
Well, they both hopped out of the car and seemed a bit confrontational ( think I surprised them coming out of the truck). But since the damage on my truck was minimal, and the fact it was 2 against fat-old me, told them to forget about it.
Was happy they took me up on the offer!:-)

Man Bo.
We were there yesterday, so that saying don't apply. It's hard to believe that any accurate reports could filter down from only the 3 guys we seen on Ericson yesterday. And Rick called me at 2:30pm and he had just got home and was going to crash. He has a real story to tell, so I'll let him tell it when his recovers from his Fishing Fact Finding, Road Rules, Wall Mart extravaganza. I'll try to locate your e-mail and get in touch about the pheasant hunt in Lakeview. Yours truly, the FRB.
Gary....Your going to have to e-mail me first. Can seen to locate your e-mail address. [email protected]

Location: Westland, MI. | Hey Dan, What do you think of this guy? Bring him down here, teach him everything, keep him away from Detroit, and he crashes in his truck only to have someone (2 to 1) crash him and then doesn't even call the Police and let's them go. The air here must have fogged his brain! (Ha-Ha) |

Bo.
I blame it on Wall Mart. If they didn't have a store every 30 miles Rick would have been home in bed about the time he was rammed.

Hahaha! You guys are soooo funny!
Hey, this old warrior truck has been through far worse than that encounter. Saving my hide sets priority in this case! |

Hey Rick.
You know me and Bo' Love ya man. I don't want to spoil my chances of getting a signed complimentary copy of your first book "Wall Marts I have seen". Or ruin my chances of doing a walk-on cameo in the production of "Wall Mart (The Movie)" later on.
Did you download that secret weapon I barrowed you yet? Also think I'm getting a TR-1 from Bo. Going to go with a 9.9 Yami kicker out the back of the Grady, so I can troll down to do some down-deep harnesse fishing this summer.

Location: Westland, MI. | Hey Capt. Dan, Don't go for the 9.9. Get an 8 hp high thrust with tilt. We're getting too old to be lifting that motor up when you're ready to go. Besides, I saw those shoulders of yours. If you don't think the 8 is enough, go to a 15. They don't offer tilt with the 9.9. Also, get your best price on the motor and let me know. I might be able to help there, too. Take care. |

Bo.
Lindys does indeed have a new 2004 9.9 Yamaha that has a built in power tilt/trim on it. $300.00 more than the regular one at $2,000.00. I'll ask about the 8 Horse though. I got to get with Chet and talk over what and how we're going to transform the back end into soemthing useable for the motor and TR-1 system.
