The back channel access is open and obviously everts is open too. Look shallow early and late in the day and not just rip-rap areas...sand gravel areas are producing too. Fished by the dam, and caught lots of small saugers on jig and minnows. Some on plastics. Early afternoon, caught 3 nice keepers in a deep hole in the channel. Again, on minnows. Tried a few spots downriver, but they only produced a few smaller fish. Only 1 eye all day. Hope you enjoyed your trip despite some fairly tough conditions. We had a fairly decent bite but they were not jumping into the boat by no means.
