Location: Berlin | Hey guys, just dropped 4 bills for a couple Optima batteries. Any of you run them? How do they compare to standard deep cycles? I just got tired of losing money because of dead batteries. |

Location: Wind lake, Wi | rich- I just bought a 7-cell yellow top its the same as the 7-cell blue top. The only difference btw the two is that the blue top has the threaded and post connections where as the yellow has just the threaded connection. I bought mine for 140.00 brand new at remy batteries here in milw. the blue top is the same price. I know farm and fleet and one other place I checked out, the price was 190.00. Remy is cheaper becuse they by larger quantities than most places. I think that optima batteries are the way to go. I have heard many good things about them from many different guys. I used mine (trolling motor) for about 8-9 hours consantly and when I was done I had more than a 3/4 charge left. I think your going to like it. |

Location: S.E. Michigan | The Optima Blue Top D31M deep cycle is a great all around battery. I started using them for all my batteries last year and so far they hold a charge better than my Trojan batteries. They are a "SPIRALCELL" (spiral wrapped) absorbent glass-mat (AGM) battery.

Location: Annandale, MN | I ran a blue top last year pulling a ranger fisherman around with a PD55 and it will hold up ALL day! I went from a 24v system to a single optima and I don't want to go back. Usually you see a degradation in the batteries performance in the 2nd, 3rd ect years so hopefully this one will hold up longer than the batteries was running. Jon |

Location: Sth/side Chicago | I have the orbital which is the optima competition. Love it. The optima 31 has the better reserve then the other optima's or orbital's, but I have yet to drain my orbital. Seems like they last longer and charge quicker. |

| This will be my 4th year with Optima Batteries. I have 5 in the boat and 2 in the truck and they have all been flawless. Rugged, durable, long lasting, no corrosion, and fast to recharge are just a few of the things I like about Optima's. Jim Carroll NPAA #588 |

Location: Berlin | Great to hear guys. Looks like I did the right thing only should have looked for a better price. I have the big yellow tops. My bowmount is only 67 lbs and is underated for my boat. Two years ago at Spring Valley, my brother and I ended our day at 11:30 in the morning because of dead batteries. My hydraulic lift for my kicker shorted out so we could not get it in the water and on top of it all my big motor was acting up. With no other options, we called it a day. We still ended up taking 19th but I wonder how much money that costed us. More than $400 I bet. It will be nice not to have to worry about it this year. I will let you all know how they hold up and the difference from the old batteries. |

Location: Oshkosh,WI | I have to hookup my batteries for a 101hp maxxum bowmount and am wondering if a series connection is the way to go? Bowmount + to Battery 1 +, Batt 1 - to Batt 2 +, Batt 2 - to Batt 3 + and Batt 3 - to Bowmount -. I am planning on using the Optima Blue top D34M-950 (X3) will this be enough juice?? Help I have to have this bowmount kickin by Friday and the last thing I want to do is blow me or it up! |
