Can someone tell me if it is recomended that the fluid in the hydraulic trim on a boat be changed, or what other maintenance is recomended on the trim? Thanks in advance...Jigger

Your hydraulic trim is nothing more than a hydraulic cylinder and hyd. fluid. It should be a sealed system. Unless you're experiencing problems, there is no reason to change the fluid. maybe a routine check on fluid level. if you have low fluid level then you might have a problem.

Good Luck

Not likely you would need to change it for the sake of changing it. These are sealled units that don't get heated up. I never have messed with changing the stuff...unless there was work being done on the system for repairs..etc.
