Subject: Ecklund Motor Sports & Marine (Oshkosh)


Has anyone had any outboard motor (Merc) service done here? I'm considering having some done but just want to get a feel for their level of service before committing. Good or bad experiences welcomed.

I would also recommend Mr. Marine in FDL. Bob has some top notch merc guys there also.

Location: Oshkosh,Wi		Nimmer Marine is a little bit more of a drive but they do OUTSTANDING work. They get jobs shipped to them from all over the world!! If those guys cant fix it it cant be fixed..or it aint worth fixing to be sure. Todd Nimmer will not BS you for a buck. The return business these guys have got amazes me. 2 thumbs up. There south of FDL a couple miles on Hwy V.

I second that, Nimmers is really good also. But the drive is a killer for me.

I do not know Eckland, but I have been very happy with Mr Marine in FDL. I strongly reccommend there service.

I bought a boat there and had bad warrenty work on it. They gave you three wrong pieces before they actually fixed the right one!

No motor service but I ended up bringing my boat in 2x instead of once like I wanted to because they told me all the add ons I had coming were there. I asked about each peice individually and kept getting yes, that's here, yes that's here so I brought the boat down. When I picked it up I noticed things were missing that I ordered. Turns out they didn't even know everything that was supposed to be on the boat even though I bought it there and asked about each peice over the phone before committing to a date to have the work done. That blew my mind after asked about each part separately on the phone. I'll be going someplace else for major repairs. I don't need to make 2 trips when it should be done right the first time.
