| With the big tournaments starting this weekend on the IL River, we thought we'd remind everyone of the INCREDIBLE tournament coverage here on WalleyeFIRST.com.
The Main Page of our site at http://www.walleyefirst.com is the place to go for all the latest updates. If it is happening in the walleye world that is the place to find it. If we are covering a tournament LIVE the link will be available from there as well.
Current and archived tournament results and infomation can obtained from our tournament center at http://www.walleyefirst.com/tournaments/ . From here you can click on the appropriate circuit to find all related results, articles, photos and video from any event we cover.
Thanks,
The WalleyeFIRST Team
Zach, Troy, Ralph and Steve.

Location: Manitowoc, WI | I do believe that Danny Jr. is fishing with his mom Barb and that Dan is fishing with their other son Jimmy. Sounds like a great way to start the tournament season. Hope their good luck spreads to their other tounament partners Schuette and Ruffolo!!! Stay hot, Barb and Danny.....bring 1st place back to Wisconsin!!! |

Location: Rhinelander | KEITH CARLSON AND CURT SCHRIMPF WIN AT SPRING VALLEY!!
Rain and wind trailing from a leading edge warm front attached to a huge slow moving Low pressure system seemed to kick the bite into gear today as many teams who had a very tough day yesterday scored well today. The final LeaderBoard is up. Some of the weigh slips were very smudged and difficult to read from the downpour by the time Zach was able to get them for our data entry, so we will be checking for accuracy this early evening. I confirmed the top twenty a bit ago, so those should be accurate.

Rob, Do you have a lap top out in the boat with some satelite internet hook up? According to the standings, you and Dale Kuklinski are out on the river fishing!! |

Location: Berlin | Larry, the bite was very tough. The water rose about 6 feet in the time we were there. Lots of debris in the water made it almost impossible to troll. The current varied speed from top to bottom which creates a huge bow in you line when jigging. On top of it all the fish were very timid. We decided to jig even though we caught fish trolling leadcore earlier in the week. The big thing for us was to keep the lines in the water. The fish were scattered and keeping your lines wet was the only way for us to put a limit in the boat. We stuck to our plan the second day and fished hard. Things did not go our way but we have no regrets. My partner was awesome and the tournament was run very well. |
