| I'm going to clean out my garage. Somewhere under all the duck, goose, and deer decoys and other stuff I think there is a YarCraft 1895 on a trailer! If I find it and have time, I'm going to start it up in the drive way and check the batteries. If all is well, I'm going to Redwing on Tuesday and hopefully beat the snot out of some poor innocent fish with the new G. Loomis rods and Abu Garcia reels I just got in the mail the last couple days!! I just wish I had gotten in touch with Haffe for some of those fine looking hair jigs he has on his web site. Oh well, maybe next week I'll go back and give them a try!
You all have a great weekend, and to those of you in Spring Valley....Good Luck! |

| Went to Depere Last night and things really slowed after dark. I only managed 2 fish both about 23" although both were foul hooked!
Good Luck

Location: Gladstone, Michigan 49837 | this weekend finishing up on rigging the new Patriot 2050DC, then some fine tuning possibly next week on the water either by Manitowoc/Two Rivers (been hearing of fair salmon, steelhead/rainbow action off shore) or the Fox River, Depere area. Also my wife, Becky while on a business trip to Marinette/Menominee seen with the last several days of heavy melting and rain that the river is opening quickly. Several smaller boats were seen trying for walleye, lots of shoreline fisherman off the Hattie Street bridge area.
Steelhead action has been slow in the past days there as well.
Keep in touch and we'll report changing conditions, Capt. Marty |
