Hey guys, i'm a musky guy, my first time on walleye first, but i thought ya'll know a little more about this question, since i see walleye guys running big boats. thanks guys.

Several good options out there....Many good alum boat companies.
With glass boats, Ranger and Triton offer some awesome awesome boats...what are the high end alumimum boats, or is that a oxy moron?

Anyone run that Alumicraft Trophy 20? Or any other aluminum boat that is over 18' 6"?
What about the Pricecraft Super Pro 19 1/2 footer or 20 footer?
Who runs a 19' or better alum boat?

Alumacraft are some very good boats, right now a good friend of mine is running the largest version, single console that Alumacraft makes. He's very pleased with it, working a 101 Minn-Kota off the bow gets around great and stable, fishes 3 musky casters easily.
Your right, lots of good boats out there, best advice and get a few different ones on the water before buying. Capt. Marty

I run a Lund 2025 ProV IFS(20'6") 96" beam, 25" transom. I think you'll find that Lund, Crestliner, and Alumacraft all make quality aluminum boats.

Just took a look around myself at some of those boat brands. I liked Alumacraft boats the best for their low cost and great quility. fit and finish match that of Lund's .I don't plan on fishing any R.C.L.tournaments so I'll save some of my money for more toys. I pay my own way.

Thanks TK. i totally forgot about StarCraft...by brother runs a 18 1/2' Fiberglass, closed bow 1970 StarCraft...i'm checking them out.
One thing that bumms me out...several boat makers i like now all come w/ Mercs....2004 and newer. Some are flexilble about letting you order a different motor....my wife wont' allow me to run a merc.

Only boat I know that is only Merc is Tracker. Your WIFE won't let you run a Merc? hehehe Mine insisted I get the 135 Opti instead of a Yammy powered 115 4 Stroke. Go figure.
