| I fished with Steve Lotz at the Bago RCL 2 years ago. We didn't do very well that day, but he is a persistant jig angler. He never gave up, and I learned alot about jigging in a river from him. He's a real nice guy, and I'm glad to see him leading after day 1. keep it up Steve! |

Location: Kaukauna WI | Pete is one of the most kind pros I know and a man I deeply respect. I have never seen him treat anyone with disrespect. I have over the years enjoyed talking to him and getting assistance from him in motivation and ideals of presentation. But their is allot of good sticks still in this event and with water resending So I think allot can change today (Thursday) on the water and wish good luck to all who will be left in this event.
I hope Pete does good the today and the following 2 days.

Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I see where my Cousin Bigfoot pulled the cat out of the bag today catching almost 16 pounds to finish in 7th place for day two. Must be the side of the family where I get my own river savvy from.

| Don't forget to include john campbell in that group. He cut his teeth on that stretch of river. |

| Gotta include Campbell and Gofron - Mike has won here before. Dalzot had back to back wins. Campbell has many high finishes. |
