As usual a fish on ice weighed in on the day after does not punch in the same numbers, but what can you do. By late afternoon there was no fish registered over 2lbs LOL. When I first weiged mine it did show 2.5lbs... last night after a rainy afternoon's worth of catch and release and lot's of hope I weighed in a modest 2.13 lb female LOL - put me 9th even up until now, but the final word is to be said at high noon today. Fun deal we fished back down the river this morning and my fishing partner Scott H hooked a dandy in the slot... 22" and you guess the weight we did not bother... another 16.5" keeper was released from that eddy and the funny part: my biggest on a tiny plastic worm, another on a Husky Jerk and today's two on a tiny crappie minnow... see a pattern, cause I don't LMAO. Some really "amiable" fellows will be hearing from Mike the area warden these days in the pix below you can see tham splish-splash-having fun over my lines and then horsing away full throttle no more than 20ft away from me define @$$hole... 
Had a fey funny encounters:
- A group of stones tied in a neat knot by my bait and "beached" safely to shore LOL
- A minnow bit halfway by a shark!? 
- A huge jig in a Walleye's mouth next to the hook I just broke to a snag, and of course under the current baited hook I was using... hence the expression as greedy as a dells walleye ;).
I guess the sweetest places in the tourney would be 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 13th and last, where only 25 get purse which of course is symbollic. Used anything I could think of and kept switching presentations and baits to get either a 19.99999"er or a 28.1" ;)...
Guys across the water were faving too much fun and had a few liquid reasons for it, they spent a lot of time on their knees in the water trying to splash their minnows back on shore... like that is going to happen ever. I was optimistic enough to try a trophy game size lure... No luck of course.

Ended up in #14 with a kind gift certificate from the River's Edge Pub'n'Grub guess the last weigh in as usual brought all kinds of nice fish.
