Whats your favorite way of using hatchet spinners? You can drift or troll them.Do you like using chain sinkers, bottom bouncers,50-50 method or wolf river rig style of drifting or trolling with the hatchet spinners.Let me hear from you if you use any of these methods or a better method. Thanks David Maas P.S. I believe this is a winning way to catch the big slobs on the north end of Winnebago.Whats your opinion.

i like to use them all the ways you mentioned.inline weights work best in warmer water and snap weights when colder. but not allways at the 50-50 method

It's a good blade to use when trolling fast. Normally will use them in combination with cranks.

And haven't tried hatchets up there on the North side, but may take your advice and give it a try!

I've used them on the Bay's water in Little Bay with luck. Probably should use them more often as they do give off some good vibration as well flash. Actually slow speeds with the blades just flashing back and forth (side-to-side) work like the bigger thumper blades without going with the heavier blades. I've used these mostly running bottom bouncers and 40 inch plus leaders.

Hello All, Hatchet Blades have turned into my favorite all time blade to use when fishing the Eyes. This is a blade that changes it`s action at different speeds. When slow trolling, or bottom bouncing the blade has a wide path. When you pick up the speed, to make your sticks work it gets tight, like Rick said you can run them with your sticks and it makes for a great combo. Here in the eastern end of Erie I have caught fish high and low at speeds from 0.9-2.9 mph. The Thumper that was talked about is a heavy blade and seems to work best when you fish it deep, it seems to smack them in the face and work when others won`t. I have had great luck with both at different times. Yes, we sell both of these types of blades at Three D but I am not trying to sell just give my opinion. I would not use them if they did`nt work.
Best of Luck,

I buy lots of components from Stamina. Great company, good prices, and good selection.
