Ordered new boat in Feb. still no Eagle trailer! Nothing but double talk and unfullfilled promises from Eagle. This is VERY poor way to run any business. Just be upfront with the consumer and maybe they'll understand. Dishonesty is not how it's done. What would you buy for a 16 Lund?

We sell some Eagle, but mostly ShoreLand'r. Eagle production is backed up badly. It happened last year in April and May, as well.
You didn't mention ...which... 16 foot Lund (there are many, many models requiring different model trailers). But, whichever model Lund you are getting, most dealers handle a trailer besides Eagle that make a model for whatever Lund you ordered. The bad part is, once that Eagle trailer for your boat does get to the dealer, the dealer will be stuck with it, through no fault of his own.
When you order in February, you would not expect to have trailer shortage problems causing the delay of your new boat delivery....
You should be correct in that assumption!

They are shut down for at least another week at Eagle. Hopefully their new operating loan will be straightened out by then.
Weird, we received some Eagle trailers just last Friday.

I just got the bad news too on eagle trailors. New Lund being delivered end of this week, with no trailor to put it on! My dealer is not happy. I am not happy. How long has this been going on? Did my dealer, possibly know this in early april when I ordered? I hope not. Wait an see.

My dealer is recommending to 4 of us to go with a tennesse custom trailor. It appears to be a better trailor anyway. We are doing it. The heck with eagle. 2 to 3 weeks delivery.

Ya know Wally I looked for it right
away, but didn't

see one. I just had the dealer order one, and today I looked at a couple he had in the showroom. They look similar to the eagles. Custom paint to match the boat, led lighting, chrome diamond fender plates, carpeted guide rails, aluminum wheels,(all 3). Competition sports-Dan VanKorn. There were 4 of us waiting for eagles, and all 4 of us took the tennesse's. Still looking at 3 weeks lead time though.

So whats the price difference between the two of the trailers. I was told 3 more weeks for my eagle and it has been a month. Good thing for me I was just upgrading my trailer so at least I still can pull the thing around.

Same price. I wouldn't hold my breath for that eagle trailer. Things are not going good up there. They make trailers for all types of luxury cruisers as well I guess. So where do you think the small guy dealers name ends up on the list of priorities when and if they ever start production again. And what about the employees at that factory? Have they been paid, are they happy workers? I feel they are not. Do they have a workforce at all after all this? Good luck!

We got our tennesse's at competition sports in Pewaukee. They have trailers there to look at. They have boats on them, but you can at least see what your getting. I talked to Dan.

I bought a new 2002 LUND PRO V 1775 with a KARAVAN trailer BIG MISTAKE. Traded it in this spring on a PRESTIGE TRAILER love it.The torsion axle is smoother and it self centers the boat very well.It also has oil bath hubs

I took delivery on my lund last week with the Tennesse trailer, instead of the eagle. That Tennesse trailer is sweet! Got to my dealer in 3weeks from ordering. I would suggest that to you. I don't think you'd be disappointed. Those eagle guys are history. Don't wait!
