Hi all, I know I've been away for a while and it has been tough for me to not keep up with the fishing world :). Finally managed to get to a computer and finally made it out to the water as well. for the past week or so I've only fished the Wisconsin river and a private pond I'd fished during ice season

We found both Crappies and Gills spawning and the Bass were hitting decently, but we got there so late that we missed all the daylight. I got a funny encounter with a water turtle hit a little river shiner...

Hmmmmmmm....... 8 hours at the normal job, 10 hours doing tackle, 2-3 hours driving. I haven't had more than 6 hours sleep since late February. I'd say yes! Two years ago I worked one 40-50 hour/week job and managed to fish over 300 days that year. Well, goodnight. 4 1/2 hours till I've got to get up and do it again! ???

I am going out tomorrow though!!!!!! :):):):):)

Yes it is. I havent wet a line yet this year.

This is the latest Ive ever gone into a season without fishing by far. Ive been trading fishing time for dollars this year. Kind of in get out of debt mode these days. The computer contract money is good but....I miss fishing bad. Im near Lake Winnebago but there just isnt any time or boat to use during the week.

This weekend come hell or high water Im driving all the way back home to la crosse and Im going to get on pool 8 in my crappy boat and go fishing come hell or high water! ( maybe scratch the high water part! )

That is the spirit! During "off-season" I put in 65-67hrs/wk on a regular basis... come the busy times 0900-0000 - 15hrs day in and day out my math says 105 weekly... done it since 2000 I need a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong break!
