| Well, my first trip of the year was not stellar. Waited for the storms and drove up to fish from 10:30 till about 3:30. Fished three reefs and caught two walleyes and a few sheepies. Then made two passes trolling- first pass- 2 walleyes and a striper, second pass- about a four-five foot sturgeon played jaws. Jumped two times, quite a sight- the planer ripping through the water- this huge fish jumping- pretty cool actually. By the time I got reorganized, the rain and wind really started to pick up and decided to get my butt home.
PS If anyone catches a big sturgeon with a gold wally diver in it, let me know! | |
