Hey guys,
I'm gonna try to paste a pic on here from the Costa Rica trip early this month. Hope it works, if it does I have alot of em. This girl measured about 140" which would put her at about 160 lbs!

Wow, that's a nice ail! What technique were you using, did she hit on top?

Yes, we were trolling dead Ballyhoo at around 5 MPH. I fought her for an hour and she sounded, I was using a 30 series Diawa reel with 30# mono and she wouldn't budge. The Capt. pulled ahead about 200 feet and let the reel take drag, then he backed back up to the fish, held the line in his teeth and retied the line to a heavy duty Penn with 100# mono so I could get som leverage. Finally she came up. What a day, 10 sails on 5 in the boat, 2 went about 160# 2 about 120 and "the small one was 100 or so. I've caught dozens of sails in Fla that were around 40-50#. But nothing like these, these fish were like marlins. I have some "aerial" photos that I was going to post on here but it doesn't seem like there's much interest. If you want to see them e=mail me at [email protected].
