I got the tag#, but I didn't write down the address to send the info to. Tag returns are valuable, especially for the sauger. I've heard of more being caught this year. They will probably send ya a letter stating when and where it was tagged. One was from MI, and the other had the plastic tag in it from WI. I did not record the WI fish, as it was during the tourney. Last year, I caught several muskies on Green Bay that were tagged. After not being able to remember the numbers, and never seeming to have a pen and paper in the boat, I realized that my digital camera has video mode. After that, all I did was clean the tag off, and read the numbers while the camera was in video mode. Worked great!
