the walleye's are biting!"

although we haven't taken large catches of walleye in the past several days some nice eating size fish up to 23 inches have been boated along with numbers of undersize fish. Again some great size classes await the angler in the upcoming years telling us we indeed have a great reproduction system in the Bays.
Water temps. are staying at around the 60' to 63' mark this past few days as warming air temps. should only improve on the bite.
Presentations include crawler harnesses with bottom bouncers, floater rigs as well jigging.
Best areas where we are finding fish have been waters 15 feet and shallower. New weedbeds of cabbage too are holding some schools of fish.
With the tournament over we've seen many anglers using many methods of fishing this water and as many have said what a great system we have up here.
In the upcoming weeks we are going to also concentrate more on the Smallmouth Bass fishery out here and what fun it can be.
Keep in touch anglers I know its been a fair season but can only improve,
here are several photos telling of what it's all about, fun catching fish!

Marty,

Let me know when the Smallmouth bite heats up, and I will drive over with the rig.
