Location: Lake City MN | The bite this spring has been one of the best that I and many others have seen in several years here on Pepin, it just keeps going strong week after week. My best days for bigger fish have been on windy days on wind swept shorelines pulling stickbaits on 3 ways and shad raps on leadcore rods, those pulling live bait on 3 ways have also been doing well. With all of the high water that we have had the past couple of weeks the fish have been scattered on top of the sand flats, as the water drops look for them to move out onto the drops.
