| Wondering if anyone else received a parking ticket in Oshkosh over the weekend for "no permit" at the launch? I received a ticket on Monday even though I have a permit plainly mounted on my trailer. I've never had a problem so far, and have had the permit since March. I thought maybe they had a new guy working the holiday weekend that didn't know what was what and ticketed a bunch of guys improperly. Any one else have trouble?? Dave Stadler |

| I got aparking ticket this weekend in oshkosh. I don,t have a season pass but I filled out the parking envelope put it in the box along with the 3 dollars but I did'nt fill out the stub I put on the dash so I got a 15 dollar ticket. So it cost me 18 dollars to launch saturday . what a ripe welcome to oshkosh!!!!! I believe the person that ticketed me was #902 later tight lines ~~~~~snappin |

| You must put the date on the stub in your windshield! So carry a pen.
Good Luck

Contest the ticket. Have them match the numbers to your stub.
If they give you a hard time finding your payment, see the judge. And beforehand depose (have the person who wrote the ticket meet you in your home for the deposition) the little overzealous twerp and ask him/her if he/she bothered to match the numbers.
If he/she gives you a hard time, depose whoever does the accounting. If that person is a twerp, then ask to see the accounting of the ramp for that day. If there are numbers missing, make a recording of them and present this information to the judge. Ask to have your ticket thrown out on the basis they have a thief picking up the cash in the envelopes.
If the judge is a twerp, then your screwed. But it cost them plenty to get your eighteen bucks.

| I thought it was funny that no where on the ticket does it give you any recourse if you believe the ticket was given improperly. They just assume that you're in the wrong. So today I have to take time off work to drive downtown to file an appeal. I hope a polaroid and a copy of my permit receipt are enough to prove my innocence. |

| I got a ticket early this year in oshkosh and I paid my 3 dollars and had the stub on the dash. I went to the city and appealed it but it didnt do any good, so I had to pay 18 dollars instead.
So I solved the problem myself and urge many of you to do the same.
Now I write the date on the stub and put it on my dash and never put the 3 dollars in the tube.
when I appealed my ticket the lady told me that they dont have time to compare the envelopes of money to stubs on peoples dashes.
So I havent paid since april and I got more than my 15$ back.
Its game on with the city of Oshkosh! |

| GAME ON!!!!! hahahahahha The guy handing out the tickets doesn't have keys to the lock box so you MUST put the date on the stub! Funny how city gov't don't trust their employees!
can't beat 'em join 'em! |

| Don't do that at Stockbridge,I went to launch last weekend (10-11) and when it came to pay I only had a 10 on me,so in it went I was thinking I lost the rest. When it was time to pull out an envelope was under the wipers with my change and a note saying I paid to much. That reminds me I have to send them a note thanking them. | Polock....it's jerkoffs like you that raise the cost of fishing for the rest of us. The City will get their money one way or the other. Guess it will be us honest folks that wind up paying for your dishonesty. Thanks....we appreciate it.
