Location: Germantown and Land O Lakes, WI | I hate to break this to you, but at least 2 of those fish pictures were altered in Photoshop or another program. The first one was definately altered. look at the jagged edges along the fishes back. |

| I think maybe, Mahumba (Roger Mayer) might possibly have edited the photos a little for balance, centering, etc. but I seriously doubt he would enlarge a fish in a photo.
Those are nice fish, but not huge. Mahumba knows how to take a very good fish picture. The fish are displayed well.
.......IMHO |

| Hi Gander Mountain Guide,
I took all or was present during these photos except for the picture of Dave, he was on my dock though!
Thanks for the compliment. I wish I could edit pictures but all I know how to do is point and click the camera and how to set the contrast, intensity and brightness.
The guy in the first picture, holding the walleye, is a friend from work. We took out a friend. He's a client from where I work. I work with adults with disabilities. He had a great time reeeling that fish in as you can tell by the look on his face. He just didn't want anything to do with holding the fish!!! So T.L. held it for the photo. As a side note T.L. 3 days after holding this fish had a run in with a table saw and cut a finger off and his fishing is pretty much pooched for the summer.
Thanks T-Mac. (my neck 'o' the woods these are considered big but after you compare them to other fish from other places they ain't all that big! Ha Ha!)
And Geoff, although I was wondering where I was getting these hits on my site from until I checked my stats, I would avoid posting the link. If you want, just right click on the picture and post the link directly to the picture. People pay for advertising on sites and my site shouldn't be treated any differently. I see that you are also from Thunder Bay. Fire me an email when you get a chance.
Roger Mayer.

It's absolutely fine with us for a link to great pictures or interesting information to be displayed in a post or thread. Big fish pictures are great! |
