Kendall Kamke provided a cool graph that has been made up with all the data from Lake Winnebago Walleyes. I think you will find this chart to be a nice little tool for a quick refernce on your fish. I have made the chart into a web page that can be printed off for your pleasure. here is the link. Thanks Kendall for the info.

I wonder how accurate that calculator is for average 'eyes from around the country. Looks about right for our area also. Anyone else find this to apply to their waters well?

I would guess it's heavy for N WI walleyes, a little heavy for Green Bay fish and pretty close to a Mississippi River curve, it says a 25 inch fish weighs 5.75 lbs on Winnebago.

I would say that chart is real close except for reef fish. On the average, reef fish are a bit thinner on bago. We had a 26"er in a tournament this year that weighed 6.23lbs out of the river but caught one two years ago that length in a tournament on a reef and it was under 5lbs. I am sure it has to do with the different type of forage they are feeding on in the different areas.

Well, too bad the 27.5" fish GWH and I got during the Merc Nats didn't get that memo, or we'd be the proud owners of a new 9.9 4-stroke....lol. Never thought that long of fish, even though it was skinny, would weigh 5.88.
