A friend and I got out early on Sunday morning and headed for the reefs. We anchored in 11 feet and and pithced jigs. Had 17 fish in no time... all great eaters 14-18 inches. Fishing slowed as the sun rose, so get out early...what a great morning..Jigger

This will be of no value to those who need big fish to weigh, but may be helpful to some other average Joe.

Sunday morning I fished the rocky points around the mouth with jigs and crawlers/leeches - did not produce well at all. Got two limits to eat drifting with a crawler harness in 6-10 fow. I tried gulp for the first time and got two jigging with it. Ran out of crawlers and put the tail from a gulp minnow on my harness to catch number 10.
