Yup. It started out good, with a 4.5 and a 3+ in the first 2 passes. It went downhill from there. We marked a ton of fish, but couldn't get them to go. We talked to a team that we saw on the water, and they told us just after we abandoned that spot, the fish went. They ended up cashing a check on those fish. Oh, well.

Sunshine had clients Monday and Tuesday, and was to be his dealer today. Was thinking about taking a day off on Monday, and heading up to the Bay for some payback!

Shep,

I just wish we had time for one more pass on Sunday, one more fish would have been really nice.

By the way I will be hitting that spot and a couple of others up there on this Sunday, PM me and I'll give you my cell number if you want a report for Monday.

Shep, after talking with my dad, I would say yes they are related. Although I don't know them my dad did say they are sons of his cousins and uncles and such.

I was always told that if the last name is Piette and the are from the Fox Valley area we are related somehow.

Shep didn't you say you were moving to the Appleton area? I take it you are building and have contacted them.

If you are moving to the area look me up once you get settled and we will hit the water togather sometime.

Hey Shep,

Did you get a chance to hear the story of the two younger guys that shot up to Chambers in I think it was a 1700 Angler. I saw them in the parking lot and they had their kicker motor in their boat. I asked them what happened and they said it broke off coming back in the waves. They were lucky they did not lose it. They cashed a check though. They said it was very rough for them coming back. We had a great time, lots of fish, but smaller ones. had a great time and learned a couple new spots.

I'm alive boys. Just been away from the computer for a few days. Too much time on the water

As Shep indicated, we were in all the right places but aparently not at the right times. We should have also tried different presentations from our standard.

I'm not surprised about the kicker problem. It was a little rough out there for a 17 footer. It took us a few minutes to find that sweet spot for speed and trim.

Hey Stinger, what place are you guys in? Are you doing the championship?

Stinger,

I did see them in the morning, but didn't hear of their misfortune. I do know at least one other kicker was lost Sunday.

Dennis, I fished Pewaukee Tuesday from 1-9 with a client. Took a 28 and a 42. Both fish in 23'. The night before, they were rocking too. 3 guys that I know got 7!

Sunshine,

We are around 40th. We have a chance to fish the championship if we do well at LBDN. We blanked at Bago which hurt us bad. We are having a blast though, to bad Joe is in the Crestliner and I run the Lund. Next year I will hopefully be going after the husband and wife title in the MWS. My wife enjoys it alot as long as she isn't puking.lol

I know you will be fishing it. Maybe I can help you out pre-fishing.

Stinger,

Forget about next year for now. You guys still have a shot for this year. Let's work on getting you in!!! I'll do whatever I can for you and your partner. At the moment I'm up in LBDN now fishing with PWT friends. Call me after their tournament for details. It's a real busy place right now with the PWT and RCL championship both coming up quick. Water temps are 55 degrees w/ frost warning out for tonight.

I have the GNWC champoinship next weekend so I'll be on Big Green Tuesday through Sunday of next week. Call me after that. I'll be up in LBDN every weekend after that. We need to connect. Shep and I were in a tie for 5th before last weekend and only 10 points out of first for MWS. Now we dropped to 6th but 40 points out. We need a big showing to push for the team of year title. A tough road but we're up for it.

Sunshine, are you helping my buddies Candle, Carroll, Sak, and Valentyne again? If you are say hi to all of them for me.

Wish I could be up there helping out again too! I need to get on the water again soon, this being without a boat is killing me.

Spent Sunday with Sunshine and Johnie. With all that brain-power harnessed, I am sure they will find the hot pattern. It sure is tough up there right now. I hope things improve before the RCL event!

Eric,

Did you just go up for the day? I'm starting to get jealous of all your fishing time.lol I heard it was really tough, but find the warm water and you find the fish.

We might be going to Green Bay this weekend, up to Chambers. I will let you know how we did. The PWT can't go into WI, correct? I don't want to interfere with them.

You're correct Craig,

Their boundry is about 3 miles south of the cedar.

Just add to the PWT boundaries - they are restricted to Michigan waters only.
