Location: Annandale, MN | SO, I believe most people know about night trolling for walleyes during this period, but did you know that bass are active too... I plan on chasing both species on central MN lakes next week.
Hmmm, it's a tough choice.... top waters are still producing big bass, but on the other hand the chance of catching a big walleye while pulling cranks is tempting. If you had to pick a time to get in on the biggest fish of the year....full moon is it! Just ask my customers...most of whom have booked for this period, again!
Central MN lakes to consider for either bass or walleyes under a full moon: Mille Lacs, Gull, Minnewaska, Koronis, Big Birch. Look for an Alumacraft 175cs Magnum if you are out during this period and say hi.
Good luck. Nav

Location: Annandale, MN | Thanks Steve. The fish from the 1st post are all from Mille Lacs...here are some from smaller (less than 1000 acres) central MN lakes. Don't overlook them this fall! Nav
