| Our Walleye Club is making a Trip to Dam 6 , Pool 6 on the Mississippi River September 24-26th. We Stay in Trempealeau, WI.
Do you know of any Walleye Guides that know this Area?
The fishing methods for Eye's & Sauger preffered for this trip would they be:
1> Drop Shotting Sencos & or
2> Trolling 3 way floating stickbaits,2 ,3 & 4 oz sinkers
3> casting by the wing dam's

| Its Walleyes Unlimited, USA, we are out of Gurnee, IL and South Milwaukee, Wi. We will be Staying in Trempealeau,WI , not yet firmed up Inn on the River, or Pleasant Knoll or open to other suggestions. We usually get ~ 10 -20 boats per outing. Ill find out we have two more meetings to go. | |

Location: Chicago IL. | I live in Chicago and I`m fishing the wat there the same weekend. I would suggest that you find a room now if you want to stay in tremp or you will be staying in the lacrosse area. Leaf lookers grab alot of rooms that time of year. I`m staying at the pleasant knoll, stop by and say hi.

They were full, I was able to get a room @ the Sonic, Galesville for Thurs/Fri & Sat.

| Right now, the action has been on the good 'ole Jig and curly-tail....chartuese colored. Went out on Saturday, Pool 5A, and caught 9 fish over 16 inches. The biggest, in the boat, went 25.5" in length. The largest of the day had the hook pull out inches out of reach of the net....we estimated it to be 29 to 30"
The hot weather will slow them down, but you will be hitting it perfectly for the fall fattening.
If the weather stays warm look for them on the tips of the dams.
