The bite continued to be tough for the RCL anglers working to make the cut to twelve boats. Dan Plautz lead the field today with a two day total of 18.813. Yesterday's leader, Tom Keenan ended the day in 6th, enough to hit the water tomorrow. Scott Allar and Richard Nascak also made the cut. See all the weights here:

Wow! 33 pro's zero'd, and a few of them are pretty big names. That must be one hell of a tough bite.

I'm glad to see Pat Cavins made the cut. I wonder if he is handlining? I also wonder if he told Christy he was fishing this tournament or if he let her think he was up in Marquette doing iron work?

Just want to say that you guys do great job bringing the tournament results to us in a fast timely manner. I just looked at the "Live Leader Board" at that other site, and they don't have a single weight from today posted yet. Nobody over there has any idea yet what has happened today. I've tried several times to "spread the word" of this site over there, but for some reason, they always zap my posts as soon as I send them in.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

JLD. what are you talking about?

They have been using the PWT leaderboard.

Just before I made that post, I was on the WC leader board, and all it had was the results from day 1. Not a single weight for day 2, and the board here at WF was completely up to date, and if I'm not mistaken, the weigh in was finished.

Also, why would the RCL be using the PWT board??

Sounds like a tough bite and coverage as well, End of year and budgets must be getting tight for all. Does anyone have the story on why Pat couldn't get his rig over 30mph. That stinks for sure!
Good Luck

Here's the daily photos:

This has been an interesting event, with the bite tough but a few anglers adjusting and doing VERY well. I especially got a kick out of the strategy Dan Plautz is using. Pat had some kind on motor problem, I understand. That happens; part of the game!

It dawned on me after I made my earlier post, that the cut was at 12, not 20, and that in fact Pat just missed. Thats too bad, I was really pulling for him, but it was still a good showing for him. Too bad about the motor problem. At least it did not cause him to miss the weigh in altogether and be DQ'd.
