Stong cold front conditions and high winds took the edge off of a fantastic fall bite on the Upper Mississippi River, but eleven teams still managed to bring fish to the scales at the 1st Annual WalleyeFIRST/Falling Rock Last Chance Tournament on Saturday, October 30th.

Tim & Tammy Ware win the $100 Walleye Anglers Trail (WAT) big sauger award with a 2.6 lb'er.

Thanks Zach and thanks to all who took part in this event.Looking forward to next year already.
A BIG thank you to Bill from the WAT for the BIG sauger award and to Cabela's, Gander Mt, Frabill,WalleyeFirst
and Tufffy boats for the GREAT door prizes.And Also to my Wife Sandy for getting the Chili ready for us and we did need it.

Who Knows maybe we'll have another one in early spring when the Ice goes out at least it would be a good one to get the spring bugs out of the boat.

Len and Zach, thanks for a good event, it's always fun donating to Kevin's retirement fund...:-) the chili was excellant and really hit the spot after fishin in the breeze all day. The raffle stuff was useful--thanks to the sponsors.
