| Well I've fished with a lot of great anglers and had a lot of fun....but today was definitely right up there with the best ever. Tony Dobbs and I have been trying to to get out for walleye together for about 5 years ...and today we finally did...
We had somewhere around four limits of fish today from 16-20 inches and another 20 or so from 13 -16...all from about a 100 foot circle... I stopped counting fish over 15 inches at about 10:30 Am at 23!!!! By 3:00 PM I think it would be fair to say both of us were pretty tuckered out.
Oh yah the fish I'm holding in my picture came from the same spot 3 years ago. He threw tails and I hopped Taylor Tackle Walleye Killers .. lots of different collors worked... 14-17 feet of water on top of a hump.

Location: Rhinelander | Sounds like a great day on the water! How long does that pattern hold? |

| This time of year they will stay a couple of days and then disappear...then back a few days later..there won't be a day till May that there won't be some there...when ever we have an outstanding day this late in the fall like this I usually just leave it alone until spring. To many females in the bunch to keep beating on them. We were fishing Tunas big fish tourney so we stayed most of the day. |
