Location: Rhinelander | It snowed all day yesterday while I was inside butchering some deer. This morning, the winds are stiff out of the NW and the temps in the 20's. There's about 6" of snow on the ground. Looks like we are in the hard water season until April here!

Location: Oklahoma | WOW!! It is in the 60's here. We never get 6 inches of snow here anymore. We used to , in the 1970's and 80's get a lot more snow, but now we just get ICE. (Not the kind you can fish on!)

Location: Rhinelander | The snow here has been way less than normal this year and the last few, too. I own some land that has a snowmobile trail running through it, and it's been closed more than open the last 5 years.
Still cold and snowy here this morning, I will have to just plain accept winter now. Jack, I don't even own a snow blower, just have the drive plowed when it gets too deep! |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Snow on the ground and cold this morning in SE Wisconsin. BUT, they're talking mid to high 40's the rest of the week  I gained 6 extra weeks of "no winter" when I moved here 8 years ago from the Eau Claire area. The boat will be in the water somewhere this saturday, they're talking a high of 48 and sunny. |

I talked to a friend yesterday and he was fishing down at Genoa on the Mississippi, and was smacking them really good on the wingdams. Pitching jigs and plastics. Just FYI! |

Location: Rhinelander | Keith Creels a lake up North a bit from us this winter. He was there yesterday, and it was frozen all the way across, with walkable ice in the boat landing bay. |
