There is a difference of 650 bucks between these two units yet they both have a 7" color screen and the same resolution. Does anyone know what enhancements the X-26 has over the FS2000? I am also considering buying the discontinued X19c with a full factory warranty instead of the X26 at a savings of 500 bucks. I am on the fence and looking for any ideas. thx Bill

check closely. the new 25 has 600 x 800 pixels and the new solar max glass. many of the old x-19s do not have this new glass, but all the units built from june 2004 going forward do have this new glass. Lowrance has solved the glare problem. they may be the only sonar builder that has figured this out.....

the new 25 is also nmea 2000 capable. when the engine builders catch up, you'll be able to put rpm's, tilt gauge, fuel flow,etc... right on the screen of your new lowrance unit. any unit that is not nmea 2000 capable won't do this.

the eagle fishstrike units are basically last years lowrance models with the old style glass that glares in the sunlight, and the have less power peak to peak.

check that - the lcx 110 has 600 x 800 pixels. the 25 and 26 still have 480 x 640 pixels

color LCX-25C sonar/GPS+WAAS, but with the addition of a 20GB hard drive preloaded with tons of mapping and electronic charts. You can even record/playback sonar graphs and GPS details to the hard drive, or to the MMC/SD memory card slots. Also NMEA 2000® compatible for networking.
