Location: upper michigan | On Jan. 15th i will host a one day fishing derby in upper Michigan in the Iron Mountain area participants will be able to fish any lake in the area the cut off for registering fish will be 5:00pm i am still working on the location to bring fish. There will be door prizes and 2 early bird prizes for adults of $150 each. Also one kids early bird prize of a bike. There are five catagories in the adult and 5 in the kids devision walleye, northern pike, perch, crappie, and bluegill all you need to do to be eligable to win a cash prize is to register a fish in one of the five catagories you may enter as many fish as you like (see state laws). You can only win one prize per catagory. the fish must be for the adults Northern pike-26", walleye-18", perch-11", crappie-12", blue gill-8". kids are as follows northern pike-24", walleye-15", perch-10", crappie-10", and blue gill-7 1/2". For the adult devision fish prizes will be a minimum of $150 for first place $100 for second place And $50 for third place in each catagory this could go up based on participation. For the kids devision we will have prizes for there fish. entry fee is $10 for adult and $5 for kids you do not need to present for early bird prizes. anyone interested in this can email me there address and i will get an entry form out to them asap.
