I have problems in my Lund with the livewell airlocking and am wondering if anyone has any experience with the Survivor Livewell after market fix for this problem?

Thanks

Tom,

Give us a little more info on the Lund. What's the problem, model and year boat? I know from experience that some of the older boats had an air lock problem that was easily fixed by putting boat in reverse for a few seconds. This would solve the problem for the remainder of the day. My last two Lunds have not had this problem.

Tom,

I am on the Y-Not Technologies Pro Staff (makers of Survivor and Bracket-Pro) I have a lot of experience with the Survivor, I helped in the testing and development of the product. Listen to what Sunshine has to say about your airlock problem, but I would still invest $30 on the Survivor. I know many people not on the Pro Staff that run it and have a lot of praise for it. The Survivor will install in less than a minute without drilling holes. For 30 bucks it won't break the bank and it definatly won't make the problem worse, in fact in the long run it will be better for your fish you have in the livewell, as it will put fresh oxygenated water from the lake into your livewell. Email me for more info or if you want one I have a few that I cary with me. My email is [email protected]

I have a 2001 Mr. Pike 16. It has had the problem since day 1. I have used the back up method and also the empty the livewell method. It happens everytime I plane out the boat and sometimes without planing out. I am sick of it and want to have it fixed when the ice melts.

I had airlock problems on my Crestliner 202 until I installed a Survivor. Actually Robert put it on for me. He said it installs in less than a minute and he did it in about 30 seconds. Great product at a great price(30 bucks).

We have the Survivor at Gander on Clearance for $20.00. I fish a transport Musky tournys, I would'nt be caught dead without this thing. I put it on in less than 10 minutes.

This is just a scoop that goes under the hull by the water intake isn't it? No pumps or anything to install. I've had an occasional air lock problem also and wonder if this would solve it.
