| went out of wendts again with a good day compaired to what i seen other guys doing. drilled about 20 holes and caught 4 9-10 inchers and tip ups i caught 3 same size when the rain and sleet came we had a good run and that was it we fished from 7am-4pm 4 guys 11 perch nobody else was doing nothing. jigging i was using a tiny tinsle jig orange head green tinsle tippes w/ a tiny minnow(shiner). A few guys headed out past the crack and didnt catch no walleyes yet. hopefully soon we get more ice. i think the clear ice conditions were a big factor in the little success. good ice though. good luck

| Nope, we didn't catch us no walleyes on Sat. We were the guys that went out past the crack to Abrams reef. We drilled a number of holes on the way out and the ice was much thicker once we got past the island. All the ice was in good shape to where we went, but with the warm weather since, you never know. Bourbut were abundant, but no 'eyes. |

Location: OSHKOSH, WI | Where is Wendts landing on bago? I wanted to try for some perch and try out the new gear. If anyone could give me directions from Oshkosh that would be great or if someone would like to join me message me. TheFlyMan |

| Do you know where Naggy Park/Blackwolf Landing is? Go about a mile south from there to Wendts or go North from Hwy N. |

Location: Neenah, WI | We checked the ice out from the Paynes Point Hook and Spear Club yesterday and found a pretty consistent 8". That's not enough for our plow trucks yet. Let's hope this warming trend doesn't hurt too much. |

Location: Menasha, WI | Dale,
How far out did you venture?? I am planning on fishing Sunday morning and walking out from the club towards the reefs.
P.S. Is it OK to park in the club lot as long as I have a sticker? |

Location: Neenah, WI | Rather than crowding the lot, you can drive onto the ice in front of the clubhouse and park. You'll be fine. I know the guys went out toward Mansurs Reef on 4 wheelers and it's fine. I've been riding all over out there on 4 wheelers but haven't crossed the crack yet. |

Location: Neenah, WI | The guys from the club went past the crack yesterday and found up to 11.5" of ice. The crack is open and working. Once we get a 12' covering we'll begin putting out the tree lines and bridges. That could be next weekend. Be careful out there. |

Location: Menasha, WI | Fished the SW corner of Mansur Reef this morning from 5:45-9:15. Started at 7' and moved back towards shore into 12'; nothing happening. Only marked two fish and they were just passing by. Ice varied from 8" - 10". The .92 mile walk didn't look so bad on the GPS but add winter clothes, a portable, and fishing gear and it's on heck of a hike.

Location: Menasha, WI | Saw a report on LL that a truck went through on the North west shore, anyone confirmation? Given the (lack of ) ice thickness and variability I measured this weekend I wouldn't doubt it. Be safe. |

Location: Oshkosh,WI | I heard that divers were sent out yesterday (morning news) in Calmet County. |

| Didn't know about that but just today at about 11:30 I was at the lake park road access and two tow trucks were at the edge of the ice. It appears that someone went in somewhere. I didn't go very far but it looked like some comotion was going on to the east. |

| Ice conditions are great with ice up to 18" throughout most of the mud. HOWEVER!!!! use extreme caution around cracks.....I helped Sunk pull out 2 vehicles that went through close to the cracks. One was very early Sunday morning just off the Ceape St. bridge. His rear wheels were still on the bridge when the front end of his truk went down. That just goes to show that the ice is never safe. Ice floats and is never stable. The cracks are constantly opening and closing so check them out before crossing.
Stay safe and good luck!
