Location: Darboy USA | I know there are plenty of fishing clubs on Bago, but most that I know of are down in Oshkosh, Fondy, etc. Looking for info on any clubs that are closer to Darboy. Is there a local Walleyes for Tomorrow or anything in my neck of the woods? Any info would be appreciated along with contact info as I am interested in signing up and helping out. Thanks. |

| Payne's Point hook and spear club is up around Neenah. Sorry I don't have contact info for you. If you stop in during sturgeon spearing they usually have quite the party there and you could get information. They are on Cty. A which runs right along the lake. Fisherman's road fishing club is on the southeast side near Pipe. Lighthouse Anglers is in Fond du lac and they have a monthly meeting. West shore fishing club is also active. I believe they are down around by wendts. Walleyes for Tommorrow has chapters in Oshkosh, Fond du lac, Berlin, West Bend, Milwaukee, and other locations.
Many of these clubs can use help putting out tree lines, bridges and plowing the roads that many of us take for granted this time of year. Although I am not actively involved in any of these clubs, I always put some money in their bucket when coming on or off the ice to help with gas and other expenses involved in clearing the roads for ice fishing and spearing which many times includes truck repairs.
More than you probably wanted to know, but hopefully this helps. |

| We have a fishing club callel FOCAS, the Fellowship of Chrstian Anglers Society and we are from all over the Fox Valley. We try to have a couple of speakers in the winter, last year we had Keith Kavajecz, Kendall Kamke from the DNR and guide Ron Bergmann. We start having fishing events in April where we fish Marinette. In May we had an event on Poygan, in July we took the waiting list from Neenah-Menasha best friends out fishing. In August we had a big family fish fry. In September we have a Salmon fishing event. We end our season with a 4 day weekend at Bay de Noc on the last weekend of October that is just a blast. The guys in this club are serious fishermen, and we are not affiliated with any specific church. We have some tournament anglers, guides, and very good fishermen that are involved. I have learned most of what I know about fishing hanging around with these guys. If you want more information, email me at [email protected].

I'm not a member of this group, but I did accompany them on their outing with the Best Friends group. I had a great time. This is a good group of guys and I can attest that they know fishing. Were I more religiously inclined, I would certainly hook up with these folks. |

Location: Darboy USA | Anyone have any additional info for the walleyes for tomorrow banquet being held tomorrow at the Darboy Club? I can't get ahold of anyone from WFT on e-mail or by phone. Wondering if tix are still available and if so, how much and what time does it start? Thanks. |

| I just talked to the some of the guys that run the local chapter of Walleyes for Tomorrow. For the first time ever they have sold out all of the seats for the Darboy banquet. Their capacity is 500 and right now they have 498 with 2 groups of 4 trying to get in. If they do find a place for them they wont be sitting together. The party starts at 5:00 with dinner being served at 6:30. The cost is $50. To those that are getting in, bring extra cash for the raffles and spend it. These are the people that are making our walleye fishery world class, and this is their main fund raiser. |
