I've had the opportunity to watch quite a few different fishing shows as of late and was wondering what everyone's favorite is? Also, why is it your favorite?

I like In-Fisherman because of the teaching aspect of the show. Next on my list would be Tony Dean for the same reason. I'm also impressed with The Next Bite as it also focuses on teaching, plus they have mixed in some humor with their show.

I still like In-Fisherman. Not as well as when Lindners were doing it, but it is still seems to be the most polished and professional.

Hands down, for me it's "The Next Bite". Great information, and a lot of humor keep me watching! Nothing worse than watching dull, stiff, humorless guys fishing. I like to have fun when I'm fishing, so when I watch other people fishing, I want to see them having fun too!

I saw my first Next Bite Show earlier this morning, Keith was trolling cranks for Big Lake Erie Walters.....I liked that show. Fun and learning all at the same time. It would be neat for a walleye pro to adopt Denny Brauers Fishing School Show. While I do not put bass fishing in my top fishing choices or for shows, HIS show is great.

Well,

I don't watch as many as I used to, however The Next Bite and The Linders are both good, and both different. I also like watching the FLW bass shows........(put down the torches, pitchforks and signs that say Heritic... ) I live in Smallmouth heaven you know....

My favorite show is the one that is on at the time ! If I'm home usually the first thing I do is scan the Direct TV satellite programming for ANY fishing show. Any species, any location, any talking head. I know this makes me sick but I bet there are a lot of others out there that do the same thing. Quite often I can learn something new that can be applied to walleye fishing. All too often people do not realize that the same techniques for one species can be applied to others.

That being said:

My favorite is The Linders Angling edge. I guess I'll never stop liking the The Linders best.

I just started paying an extra $1.99 a month to get the Outdoor Channel so that I can watch The Next Bite Show. It better be worth it So many of you raved about it, I had to try. Here's hoping that it becomes my new favorite.

My biggest pet pieve for shows is when they become nothing but an info commercial. Let the commercials do your selling and TEACH.

I haven't watched a true fishing show in a long time. I've watched that show on ESPN with the young couple who have the big yacht with the chef that cruise the Pacific Ocean around central America, but I never make a point of tuning it in. If I come across it, I might watch.

I don't have Direct TV so the only shows I get are those on basic cable, and I couldn't even tell you what shows are on, or what days. I'd much rather be on the computer, or out in nature, than sitting around watching TV.

I do enjoy watching a taped episode of "Sportsmans Quest" I have though, from a old N.A.W.A. team tournament when Kieth K. and I were the only boats with camera men in them, and we ended up starting and fishing the same spot most of the day!!LOL

He with his son, and me with my wife! We caught alot of fish that day, and the whole show was of the two of our boats!!

I like the Lindner's, and In-Fish. I've seen the first two The Next Bite shows, and liked them both. Very informative, and fun to watch. I still watch Gillespie. He's always a hoot, even though some can't stand his constant banter, there is alot of info revealed.

I agree with all the shows mentioned above, they are great shows. As far as I stand, anything that shows walleye fishing is good stuff. However, I think the best fishing show out their is ESPN Bassmasters show. First of all the show is on an entire hour. It takes you on the water during competition. You actually get to see anglers catch their fish. Plus it also offers insight to areas fished by different competitors, the times the fish are caught, and actual lure choices used by the anglers. I think the show is very insightful regarding tournament fishing in general. Believe me I hate to say this on a walleye sight, plus being a hardcore walleye fisherman of 20 years. I just really enjoy the show!

I like to watch any fishing show with walleye and bass but my favorites are when the pwt is aired on in-fisherman and Bob izumis real fishing show. I don't have the channel that the next bite is on but I am trying to get it. I have to get a dish but right now I have digital cable and my supplier doesn't have all the channels I want.

My favorite new show is the Next Bite. Lots of information and entertainment.

My favorite tournament coverage shows are the offerings on ESPN. Bassmasters and the Redfish tournaments. Those redfish events look awesome! If only I could convince Grunwaldt to fish them with me. lol

I am hoping the new FLW shows on FOX Sports will have the same type of flare, maybe the walleye world will finally get the national respect it greatly deserves.

For entertainment, and fishing spots to avoid for a week, I like to watch Gillespie spit all over everyones boats! For knowledge, anything Lindners.

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about The Next Bite show...we haven't been on long but we're having fun and learning how to do a good job. I've got two great partners to work with and they are definately humorous at times. I'll also put my vote in for Angling Edge...their show is great and the Linders' are good teachers of the sport.

Wish I had time to watch fishing shows. In the winter, boat and spot shows eat up my TV time, summer I'm fishing.

Anything but Jimmy Houston!!!!! Geez, it's a toss-up for my favorites. I like the Linder show and the whole bass series ESPN has on during the weekends now. Also like the Next Bite show, but inconvenient hours.
