| Randy - A few questions on the motor for sale
Can you tell me what year this motor is?
Is your shaft shorter than what is typical?
What kind of rig did this come off of?
How long can you rev hard on a full charge?
Can you share what you're upgrading too?

| Sorry to clutter up this thread, but I just had to reply. I couldn't help but notice your last name. It's obviously very original. My second cousin married a Blasczyk that was from Montana near Butte. He did something with copper slurries. Might you be related? If so, I would just love to know since I enjoy keeping track of all family.

| The motor came off a 620 Ranger and I believe it is either a 2003 or 2004 model. I have purchased an auto pilot basically so I can use the bow mount for trolling purposes when trolling slow. The auto pilot also comes in handy for steering when hand lining. |

| Randy B. - Thankyou for the year of the motor. I've heard autopilots are nice for the reasons you gave. But I heard that Maxums steer faster so I'm looking at them too. Have heard that autopilots drain batterys bad, that's why I ask how long you can rev hard on a full charge.
Also wondering about the shaft. Mr Tacklebox on this board had autopilots with longer shafts, so wondering if your shaft is shorter than normal.
Also have heard some shafts can act different. Have heard autopilots have shafts that bend and motor guides have stiff shafts. Is your shaft hard or does it flexible?

I called my second cousin-in-law last night and told him about seeing your name on this fishing message board. His name is Remmy. You wouldn't believe it, but before I even told him what you wrote, he said something about coming from a huge family that was widespread. The two of you HAVE to be related. You think and talk alike. He is pretty tall with reddish hair and fair skinned. He played the trumpet and was pretty good. Any resemblence?
