| Just saw the video of Dan and Eric win the MWC championship and was intrigued by the "funnel"-type tool to handle their willowcats. Looks like they work pretty good and you don't have to actually handle the cats. Anyone else used these and know where I can get one?

| i bought the funnel in a bait shop, can't remember the name, in Wabasha, MN, on the Misssissippi. they sell yellow cats too. go to Yahoo, or some other yellow pages site, and look for bait shops in Wabasha MN. i'm sure they can send to you. they are handy. gotta watch the sting of the yellow cat, especially if you're allergic to bees, as our guide Loren Waalkens told us. love them yellow cats! |

| Someone please tell me what a walleye sees in a willow cat? I can't imagine it feeling too good in the belly! Is it an easy food source for them or the wiggle or something else? I just hope they never populate the area I fish, I have a hard enough time with those darn VMC hooks much less a willow.

Location: Rhinelander | Those things are weird. I fished with them out of Zach's boat a couple times. They seem to really make the 'eyes angry; hits on a Willowcat for me were THUMP!!! and go. I stuck myself a couple times on the little jewels, that was nice, sort of like a continuous wasp sting for awhile. |

| Now john I thought you were tougher that that.I never use anything to put those peske little buggers on a hook.All you have to do is stroke it a couple of times and they stiffin up. |

| Got my "funnels" or "scoops" from Ace Hardware In LaCrosse. Thanks for the info and to the guys at Ace for getting them out to me quickly. $3.00 ea. plus shipping, hard to beat that. |
