Location: Oshkosh | Anything going on up on the Bay? Haven't seen any posts about any action. I'm looking to get up there later this week, either to the Fox River or maybe to Sturgeon Bay area. I dopn't want exact spots, just want to know if it is worthwhile to head all the way up there. Thanks![:knockout:] |

Location: Green Bay, WI | Fished Green Island last Sunday in the big wind. One eye 22" on a crawler harness in three hours. I plan on working the lower bay on Sat and maybe fish out of Oconto on Sunday. I'll post how things go, but that may not help you if you want to fish this weekend. |

| Fished the reefs and some small humps at night with Dale Stroschein a few times the last couple of weeks. We did well a couple of times catching a few fish and had a couple of nights where we didn't get much of anything but bass. Total we caught a few big males around 20", a few females 4 - 7 pounds and two fish over 8 pounds. We also lost a few other fish, including a couple of NICE ones that came "un-buttoned" near the boat. Our best night was in 2 - 3 ft waves from a SW wind, longlining Rouges in 11 - 14 feet of water with a big split shot about 3 feet from the bait. We were getting those baits to tick the bottom in 11 feet of water.
Things should be starting to pick up soon. |

Location: Oshkosh | Was out by Monument on Friday for a half day. Marked a few fish tight to bottom, and a couple suspended half-way down over 55'. Caught one "nuclear" sheephead and lost another fish well away from the boat. Guys I talked to says the action is farther north or south. A day late and a dollar short- my life story![:knockout:] |
