Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | I'm very honored to announce that I've been accepted to represent Michigan Stinger Spoons on their Pro Staff. And according to Rob (stingers PR man) I'm the first staffer accepted in the last two years. So I feel doubly honored. I'd also like to thank W.F. member "Champ" for the recommendation, and Terry Weber (Stinger Spoons owner) for both having the faith and confidence in me that any Pro Staff position carries with it.
Another thing I'm excited about is that Terry has given me permission to incorporate His Stinger Scorpion spoons into my Spoon Slider Harness Rigs. Last year I was using three different component spoons to make my rigs, and even though all worked adequate enough, the stingers were light weight, had the right kick, and came in the multiple/popular colors I was looking for.
My thumbs are raw, but I just finished making my winter production (350) of my Spoon Slider Rigs and will sell these at a reduced price to anybody on W.F. that's interested. Once I wholesale any thats left to Franks in the Spring, there won't be any more (at least not from me) till next late winter.
I'm including a few things for your viewing. I'm pasting two testimonials off another fishing board of a couple people who bought some of the 300 Rigs I made last year. Also the color charts of the Stingers and the codes for the ones I ordered and have on hand right now. You may need to print out the color chart to be able to see the codes. All these Rigs are, is a winter project of mine, that allows me/you to troll with both plastic and meat at the same time at speed up to 3MPH. I designed them to use as slider above crankbaits, but they can be used with any weight forward rig or with snap weights if you wanted.
Codes of the colors I have on hand right now.

Capt Dan,
Thanks for the info!!! Your harness performed to a T Saturday as we went 13-20 off Point AuGres. About half of our fish came on the Confusion/Pumpkinseed Gulp combo! Never bothered trying the slider setup as our riggers and 3 oz bottom bouncers performed well (didn't want to mess with something that was working!) Fish definitely seemed scattered, but all our fish came right off bottom in 28-30 fow a little south of Point AuGres. To the guy who thought your harnesses didn't look to great, his loss!!!
Thanks again!!! I'll be running more of them !!!

Spoon fed on the Bay
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Headed to AuGres today to do some walleye fishing, only to find very rough seas. The 1-2 footers that the marine forecast was calling for was more like 4-5 footers, a bit to rough for my 7 year old son. We decided to head down to the Pinconning area and launch out of Gambills. The water was a little calmer and seemed to be calming so we headed out. The fishing was pertty slow with the crawler harnesses and hot-n-tots until I slid one of Capt. Dans spoon sliders above a couple hot-n-tots. We ended up catching 7 walleye with all but one coming on the spoons and lost a few other fish. I am definitely sold on them, I ended up stopping by Franks on the way home and picked up a few more. The fish all ranged between 20 and 25 inches, we also caught a few cats on the spoons to.
Good Fishing
Tim

Location: Sheboygan,WI | Well congarts Dan. Terry and I talked and felt you would be a great addition to the Stinger family. As you already have found out it's not an easy staff to get on. We are proud to have you on and hopefully we can enjoy a great fishing season. |

I don't have a web page/link per-say. This really isn't a business, just yet another hobby that I make very little on the side, while sharing some fish catching techniques and neat new lures with the fishing public. I do have however a pictures of the rig along with hows it's used and 16 of the 28 colors of the spoons I have on hand. Here it is below.

I'm thinking that CRS that I have may be rubbing off on you. I'm almost positive I showed you my Spoon Harnees Rigs before in one of our meetings. Then again MY CRS might be flaring up. |
