Guys and gals I would like a little feedback on what tournament circuits you plan on fishing in 2005 and what states you will be fishing them?

I am doing a little research for the radio program and a possible article for WalleyeFIRST.

Thanks,

I am fishing the PWT (all six), and the Illinois walleye Trail (when schedules permit). This will be my first year fishing the entire PWT circuit. I look forward to a great year working with my new team mates!

I think that's enough......but I might try to squeeze in some Sheboygan Walleye Club events and some WWA's too.

And, hopefully, the PWT Championship. Looking at the roster, I think the competition is tougher this year than ever!!!

I forgot to ask about tournament variety. I know you folks hit the walleye trails, but do any of you also fish muskie or bass tournaments?

As far as Bass Tourney's, it is not something I am planning for the year, but it is not being ruled out either.

I have a friend who fishes Bass Tourney's in Southern Wisconsin. In 2001, his partner left him high and dry, so I stepped in to finish the circuit with him. I fished four total, and it was alright, but I enjoy the Walleye tourney's more...

If I do fish any (besides Walleye that is) it will be a spur of the moment thing...

I try to participate in at least one local muskie tournament each year.

I actually started tournament fishing in the bass world back in the eighties but left because of the geographical area that I live in. I asuumed that making a name for myself would be easier in the midwest with much less travel. I also thought it would be prudent to stick with walleye tournaments because it appeared they were taking off and purses would grow. With today's bass tournament purses and the apparent bass tournament explosion in the Midwest, I often question that decision.

Play Play Play,...is that all you tounament fishermen do is play around on the water! When do any of you work??!! LOL

If my "work" schedule out on the water will allow, I might fish a few tourneys this year. If it works out, this is what I might do.

Wave Wacker Invitational
5 Mn. Tournament Trail events. (4 one day events, and one 2 day event)
Mac's Twin Bay Couples.
Red Door Resort. (Defending Champs!!)

I might fish a TeamSupreme Bass Tourney also.
