| 5th Annunal Illinois Governors Cup and Illinois Walleye..."
The 5th Annunal Illinois Governors Cup will be held on March 5,6, 2005. First place will pay $10,000.00 (based on 120 teams)Entry fee is $270.00 a team with 80% payback to 20% of the field. Big Fish pots are optional 10.00 a day with 100% payback. We will also be awarding a $1,000.00 certificate from Mercury Motors to the winners. The 2005 Illinois Walleye Trail will continue its 2005 season at Spring Valley on March 13, 2005. Entry fee is $140.00 a team and optional $10.00 big fish pot. The Illinois Walleye Trail would like to Thank its Sponsors, Hennepen Marine, Lund Boats, Mercury Marine, and Custom Canvas.

Location: DeKalb, Illinois | The Il Governors Cup and IWT are great tournaments and Bob Kidd does a great job running them. Anyone interested should fish them. Good Luck and I will see you on the water. By the way the saugers will be ready as soon as the water drops. |

Location: Chicago IL. | Bob I will most likely be there. I fished starved rock this weekend with the high water and with the water dropping it should be a great bite. Felt FUNNY being the only boat out on a decent day. Sure felt good to fish from my boat. See you on the 4th. |
