Has anyone received any notification from FLW that they are in?

I received my credit card statement yesterday and I'm being billed for all entries so I'm assuming that I made the entire circuit. I would have thought that a letter would have been sent out before the charge.

Wondering if they have filled any of the events yet or not? I just can't believe they don't have anything out yet. The 1st stop is a month away. I guess they like all the phone calls???

If you fogged a mirror, and your credit card went in, you passed. Still at about 65% full as of last week.

I wonder why they are having such a hard time filling these events? The PWT was full and they only let so many guys in. FLW has changed there rules, so only 50 teams make the Championship, I thought this would make guys want in more. I guess not, did they fill all the events last year?

Last year three of the four regular season tournies were a percentage over the regular field of 165. Spring Valley had 170 boats, and Lake Erie and Devils Lake both had 174. The Lake Ohae tournament had 145, which would have been 20 anglers short of a full field, and the Championship had 219 anglers. One big thing to note here...the FLW still paid out the full field amounts even when they didn't fill thier event at Lake Oahe, and when there were more than 165 anglers, their payout was increased accordingly.

This year the field will be 150 tops. I don't think there will be a problem filling them...except for Bull Shoals..maybe...since there are some anglers that do not like to fish new waters and will not enter that one. Some anglers might not have their boats in time, and some anglers might have a conflict with other tournaments that are scheduled around that same time frame. Even so, there is still over 100+ anglers signed up to fish BS right now. That's still a good competitive field in my opinion. The other events will fill. They didn't fill right off the bat last year either, but then you can see above, what the final counts were.

As for Dennis's original question....I talked to Sonny the other day, and he said they should be sending out the confirmations this week sometime. That's how it's always been in the past. Two to three weeks prior to a tournament. If you had a concern that you might not be in, then all you had to do was make a phone call to Sonny to ease your mind, until that piece of paper showed up. If he's not in the office, all you have to do is leave him a message and he WILL call you back. He's good about that.

Juls,

Are you sure about them paying more when the fields had extra boats? I cashed a check at Port Clinton and it was the exact amount listed in the brochure.

well, if any pro still needs to sign up for Devil's Lake, I signed up without a pro. I'm really hoping to make it in.
