| WHAT KIND OF LINE SHOULD I TIE CRAWLER HARNESSES WITH TO FISH WINNEBAGO??
FLOROCARBON OR MONO?? WHAT LB TEST SHOULD I GET???

Location: Sioux Falls, South Dakota | Many years ago I started useing 14lb Berkley XT in the low vis green for my crawler harnesses. I have tried almost every new line made and I don't think any of them are better than the Berkley 14lb XT. Many are far worse at the same lb strength.
Now for a finess rig(no spinner/beads) I like Seagar Florocarbon 10lb test, I tried every new florocarbon line made with the exception of the new Transition line and have not found a higher quality line that the Seagar Florocarbon.
Just my 40+ years of Walleye fishing thoughts.....The old stuff is still some of the best.....Dang I'm gettin' old....

| 15 lb Flouro. Seaquar, Scientific Angler, Vanish, Stren. I used Stren last year and it worked out well. |

| That is some heavy line. I would go with 6lb 2lb diameter fire line......Thats what I use in Canada and catch lots of 4-5 lb fish constistantly each summer. |

| How long do you guys tie your snells for winnebago. 3, 4, 5 feet. Does it matter?? I usually just put them on my snap swivel?? Any thoughts?? |

| i tie all my snells at 6 feet without the swivel then depending on the bottom structure and fishes moof ill downsize it r not then add a small crane swivel. I also use quick change clevises on all my worm harneses. it helps when experimenting and keeps all those blades from dangling on my lindy riiger and keep the blades away from chipping and stcker pealing. |

yeah thats fireline thats a whole different story. the lakes you fish must be dark though. |
