If your not familiar with River Pro boats then you should be. They are the ultimate boat for fishing shallow rivers and we have quite a few in the midwest. The upper Mississippi and lower Wisconsin rivers come mind. http://www.riverpro-boats.com

Kevin Turner is the owner and designer of these crafts and he is in the process of coming out with another model.

Take a look. Kevin has been hard at work and it looks like a winner!

So, who is interested in a serious river craft such as this? Anyone wish they had a boat that allowed them to access to an untapped fishery? Let me hear your comments. Nav

Jon, I have been seeing one of these boats out this winter here on pool 4. It looks like a really deep V with a tunnel and inboard, am I correct? Interesting boat.

Hi Loren,
I think the one you are talking about is the Hi-Pro. Did it look like this? If so, it has an inboard jet (175 HP) with a delta pad, reverse chine bottom (no tunnel). Very functional rigs for any type of river fishing and you don't have to be concerned about wingdams or dead-heads.

This new design is to address the need for a light weight boat that utilizes more moderately priced outboard driven jet motors. It's a great idea. Nav

Yes Jon, thats it. One of these days I need to quit fishing long enough to talk to the guy. Looks like a really serious river boat.
