Location: Manitowoc, WI | Per John Janousek of Crestliner, Crestliner will have their support trailer at the FLW Walleye Tour events and FLW Walleye League Championship in 2005. I wonder if Lund or Mercury will be supporting at these events? |

| Hmmm. I dunno Jer....
But... Irwin probably hasn't endeared himself with Mercury with all his press releases lambasting Mercury and Bruswick during the past year. |

Regardless of Irwin's feelings, I'm thinking they will be there in some capacity. More than likely, they will not be within an area that will be restricted to sponsors and their products, which is what they did at the last RCL Championship.
I do know for a fact that these guys are, for the most part, all good friends who help each other out all the time. I had a part break on my Lund during the second RCL Championship at Green Bay and they replaced it with a Ranger part because the Lund rep. didn't have the part in stock. I've also had a Lund livewell pump put in a Crestliner.
Yes, the lines are drawn in the sand and we will be the ones who are penalized for it, along with the consumers. I just hope those lines do not extend to the tech trailers. |

Location: Northern Illinois | To Jerry's point, At the SV MWC last week, Ranger announced at the Rules Meeting they would do their best to help out any boat, Ranger or not. They did not promise, but only stated they will do their best to get a non-Ranger back on the water. I thought about situations as Jerry described; pumps and so forth. I wonder if the motor manufactuer's have a similar attitude, given all the law suits and finger pointing. WM |

Location: Neenah, WI | In the last few years I've seen many times when 1 tech. would help the others when they were swamped. These guys are friends and spend a lot of time together while we're out fishing. One instance was at a PWT when the Yamaha Tech. fixed the wiring on my Lowrance. My boat was a Triton with an Opti. Frank at the Ranger trailer is outstanding and will always lend a hand when he has free time. |

| Yeah, all those guys are great, and help out whenever they can. Last year at Erie, we needed to lower the motor a notch, and try a different prop. Frank and Jay started the procedure, and pretty soon, the guys from the Rude trailer, and the Lund trailer were helping. They get along pretty good. Perhaps the owners of the parent companys should take note of this, and modify their behavior of late. |

Location: Northern Illinois | Glad to hear that all the techs lend a hand to one another and to the participants. Regardless of tournament sponsorship, gives a fisherman some added confidence that there would be some level of tech support, regardless of equipment being used. WM |

| Shep.... yes... it would be nice if the "suits" acted more like the guys in the trenches. |
