Location: Rhinelander | 104 Boats left the Bull Shoals Boat Dock this morning at 7 AM sharp under strikingly different conditions than the first and second days of the FLW Walleye event on Bull Shoals Lake. Sunny skies are forecast today with a high of 71 degrees. Northwest winds at 5 to 10 under a dome of high pressure will usher in another system that will effect the weather tomorrow with warmer temps and partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 70's.
This is a very close event, with almost everyone within striking distance of the final cut if a limit ends up in the bag. As the spawn gets further and further along, hopes were high the bite will improve.
Watch for the FLW weigh-in at 3 PM Central here at WalleyeFIRST!

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | I look forward to the pictures and reports. Although we all know that this is a very very tough bite, I also see it as very exciting. It's very possible that the person who stays focused and diligent can still make the final day. There could be some real surprises today! EVERYONE is 1 or 2 fish away from making the cut for day 4. I can't wait to hear the stories and techniques used by those who got bit.
As a tournament fisherman I have always said that I would rather be in a competition with a tough bite than one where everyone gets a limit. The best will prevail. I predict that there will be a couple of people who over come the frustration and stay focused who will move up to a position of CASHING A NICE CHECK.
Anyone notice that WF'er Mike Dutton has caught a fish on day two and is in a position to make the cut with one more quality fish?
This is real drama................those who have been through this kind of a situation know exactly what I'm talking about. Kinda reminds me of the State championship for GNWC last year. Only one fish was caught at the end of day one and everyone was in position to win the championship at take-off on day two.

Any idea how far these guys are running to find fish?
I had heard it could be as much as a 70 mile run to the dam. |

Location: Kaukauna WI | GUYS at the Meeting we were told of voilations on rules some I am not sure of. I was told of guys using a guide and paying him. This is a no no in FLW after you pay you final install ment of entry. |
