It was questioned if he should win because of where he caught his fish???????

That was the rumor, but it was not because of where he was, but information he received. If the info we have is accurate there's absolutely nothing there.

Until we know by whom and the exact reason why there's not much for us to report on it. FLW must not have thought much of it as they awarded him the trophy.

Hey Guest,

Put up some hard facts, or keep your fat mouth shut!

I've had the chance to fish one time with Nick, for one day, and I don't kiss anyones a$$ for any reason, as everyone here knows, but I'll stand the line in defense of this man. He IS that type of man that you can trust. He WILL NOT break any rules knowingly, period!

Congrads Nick, with the bite the way it was and considering what you just accomplished, leading the last five days of two flw tournies, that alone is remarkable. There were a lot of great sticks down there. Good Luck on the rest of the season.

Hey Mike... I see you caught one real nice fish... I was rooting for you on day 3... But, you did well since it was one nice fish... You got points and a check so congrats are in order for you, too.

Thank You I wish I could had any of the 8 25 + Walleyes go after my baits instead of surfacing and swiming off. I was in right area but could not figure out how to finess the fish in both a slow or fast presintation. I trided every thing and even talked to many top pros I respect for assistances for that I thank class acts like Kevin Mc Quoid, Bart Davis and Chris GIlman. Even thou they competed against me we all talked open and non selfish and for that I have a greater respect for each of them.

Can anyone win a tournament anymore without being accused of cheating? Come on guys. Grooney got attacked at erie last year after he won the RCL event there. What happened to the day when we congratulate the winner and go on to the next one? Congratulations to all that caught fish!
