| Just had one put on our Crestliner over the winter. First time we used it worked awesome! Quiet and powerful. This last weekend it ran VERY loud and seemed to be struggling. Anyone hear of problems with these? |

| What was the problem. I've got the same thing happening. It shakes and rattles. Brand new. |

| Factory dust? Our repair guy took it apart and replaced a bearing then blew it all out. Says fragments left in there in the factory once it runs a while, the power of the magnet stirs things around and it ends up grinding against stuff inside. Kinda scary for a new motor. This was the 4th time we ran it. Heading for a tourney tomorrow. When we called the guy Tuesday he scared us thinking the magnet came lose and we would be out a motor this weekend. If you try and turn your prop and it stops either direction, that was his idea of a magnet broke lose. If that isn't it, may be a bearing. Good luck. |

Location: Appleton wi | I noticed alot of cavitation with my new 80lb minn kota this weekand at petenwell. Its running at 24v and i worked it hard. Is this normal or do you think i have the same problem stated up above? |

| Not sure.... we just noticed ours ran really loud. After being cleaned out, it is quiet again. |
