WTG Jimmy and Sunshine! How'd you do Little Nephew? Just got off the phone with your dad. He was asking if I knew.

Nice job today sunshine, if only I would have had another 1/8 of an inch.
Heck of a job in the brutal conditions.

Great job to anyone that weighed a legal fisf, the conditions were very tough. My boater Jesse Buchel (sp?) and I went throgh some short fish and had one on that I think might have weighed but got off almost at the boat. Jesse's dad was the first place co-angler that fished with Jimmy. WTG guys. I heard the river fish turned on. But my parner and I elected to stay where the water was calmer because boat control on the main lake was difficult.

I'll add my congrats... Dennis was smiling big time... I fished the river with my boater... What a great ride... I am very glad I drew an experienced boater... As bad as it was my boater, Mark Kamp, from Fox Lake, WI, did a great job in some really brutal water... THanks Mark... We weighed one fish right at 15"... figured we'd be dead last at 1lb 2ozs... but an even smaller legal got weighed at 15 ozs... Wow... But thanks to my boater, who caught that one... I caught about 300" of walleye, unfortinately, 12" at a time! We were on fish just not any big fish... I am thrilled that we got 35th place out od 76 and 166 points... great leg up fpor a spot in the Championship. Also, thanks to the FLW folks and volunteers (and the guys selling brats and stuff) great job... And, the facility at Adams County Park is second to none...

hgmeyer,
right now I would love to be in your shoes. Did not catch alot of fish, but the two that are killing me right now , one was just under 201/8, tried my hardest to get it under 20, the other one that is killing me is the 27 15/16. I tried and tried to get that one 28. Biggest mistake I made was around noon. We were not catching alot so I left fish to try to find fish around noon, we caught one at 14 3/4 after that. I guess I learn every tourney. Just need to stop making these stupid mistakes. I'm just hoping that all the people that caught fish are not fishing the whole league, if they are I'll have a heck of a time making the championship.
Again nice job Dennis,
Eric

Thanks Guys!

I REALLY do appreciate your comments.

I had been having a bit of bad luck the past couple of weeks. The worst part was blowing my transmission last week while prefishing. It was nice to see that trend stop and a little "sunshine" turn my way.

See most of you at the MWS tourney on the Winnebago system this weekend. I owe a few of you a beer.

"Eye" agree with eyefever - just catching a keeper was a major accomplishment and two fish was good enough to cash a check!

What a beautiful day for fishing....

Congrats on the 3rd place finish Sunshine...It was nice to finally meet you as well.

I drew a great partner and had a blast, even though the conditions were less than favorable. Congrats to all who placed. It was a tough one...

Congrats also to Trap and Dean Stoflet on the pro-side, and WalleyeX on the co-angler side. Tough bite, and these points will be invaluable down the stretch. Trap knows how important that one fish was last year! With 4 qualifiers, it's even more important this year.

Hey Dennis... I see that Walleyes are worth $228 an ounce (between 2nd and 3rd)... That's down from the "cost" I'm used too for traveling and boat expenses, etc for a 1lb -2oz fish... Man, the weights make the top three performances even more dramatic
